Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Texas
Proper eviction after foreclosure Texas
I purchased a foreclosed house at the county auction but found out afterward that it is still occupied. I have read that I must give previous owners 30 days, 3 days, and 0 days notice to vacate prior to filing a forcable detainer with the JP court. The 0 days guy said that after my deed was file, the past owners are now tresspassing since there was no lease agreement. Does anybody know the correct answer? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

See chapter 24 of the property code. You must give 30 days written notice.
