Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Texas
I rented a place..In the contract it states that I was to pay the gas and the elctirc bills to them.. They had me put the gas in my name and they kept the elctirc in their name 6 months after living their they said i had to put the elctric in my name.. I told her I could not afford the depoist plus it states in the contact that I was to pay the elctirc to them..She didn't care and said she was going to trun the lights off on me and my 2 toddlers.. So i had to move out.. Then she only gave me 2 days th pack my house and clean and to the yard.. yet the yard was not done when I moved in..Now she is sueing my for a brake of contract for 3325.00 doller.. I paid a depoist when I moved in and she wont give it back.. I need adive on how to win my case..

Counter-sue, and allege (in your counter-petition) exactly what you've told me. Go to the clerk's office (of whatever court the case is pending in) and pay a jury fee (it will be less than $40).
You'll be much better off if you have a lawyer do this for you.
