if my roomate has destroyed my valuable and stolen personal documents from me, but we still have ten months on our lease, is there any way to get out of lease ?

That is not a reason. Think in terms of the apartment's perspective - they did not cause you to enter a relationship with this person or let the person steal or destroy your thing . . .
If this person destroyed your property, you can call the police for a criminal mischief charge.
You can also put a lock on your personal bedroom door.
