Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Texas
Security deposit refund w/ out of state landlord
My landlord moved out of state before my lease with her terminated. I moved out and never received the refund on the security deposit nor any accounting for damages. I'd like to file against her but how do I do that if she's out of state?

The requirements for the lawsuit do not change. The landlord will be served with the lawsuit at her out-of-state address.
