Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Texas
Not certain what area of law this is:
I won tickets to an event with over 400 other employees (given by our employer). The event features concerts headlined by a variety of popular artists. Many times employees will trade tickets to attend the concert they prefer. My tickets are for a popular artist, however not my particular genre. I offered to trade my tickets to anyone interested for an individual that I really enjoy. I was emailed back with an offer and I accepted. We agreed/confirmed to trade at the pick-up location. I just received an email stating that she changed her mind and will keep the tickets. Is it okay to back out of the agreement?

I think it's immoral and unethical for her to do what she did. And you probably have a valid oral agreement that you could enforce, but at what price?
