Iou
I live in Texas. I loaned 30k to a person in Maine. I received 20k back, but am still waiting on the final 10k. I have a written IOU describing the details of the transaction and the date for the loan to be paid. We both signed the document. It has been about 3 months past due now. Do I have a case here, and do I need to find an attorney in Texas or Maine?

What do the papers he sign state?
Where they drawn up by an attorney? If so, call that attorney.
If you did not use an attorney, I recommend that yo hire one now!
Good luck! Merry Christmas!
