Thank you for your inquiry. I am very sorry to learn of your problems. Unfortunately, due to laws recently passed by Texas Governor Rick Perry and the Republican Legislature, medical malpractice claims such as yours are usually not economically feasible.

I understand and sympathize with the suffering, both physical and mental, that you have undergone. However, unless there have been very substantial economic damages (loss of earnings), a lawsuit would simply cost more than the eventual settlement or verdict would produce under the new law.

Other lawyers may have other opinions, and I recommend you do seek further legal advice.
