Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Texas
Can a doctor practicing medicine in Texas be charged with manslaughter when his gross negligence leads to the death of a patient? How about negligent homicide? Since tort reform has made it impossible to file a med/mal lawsuit, it would seem that the families of the victim would have SOME kind of legal recourse to make the doctor accountable. Your thoughts and comments would be greatly appreciated.

File complaint with TX Board of Medical Examiners. Contact DA in county where death occurred to see if they will press charges.
