Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Texas
Hi
Im from Austin TX. I recently went to the doctor and had some lab work done. I am private pay and paid the $120 dollars that was due. So I return two days later for my results and they said they were unable to give me my results because I owed $58 dollars and until I paid I would see my results. I was carrying only $20 dollars in my wallet at the time. Can they do this? What if something was wrong, can they ethically hold my results ransom? Mel
