Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Texas

Meldical Malpractice for almost 8 years

I have been in a medical malpractide suit for almost 8 years.. Is that normal for a Medical Malpractice suit to last that long?/ I almost lost my child with that doctor and hospital.

Most lawsuits on a jury docket average about 18 months to 2 years, but there are exceptions, and it may depend on the county you are in as well as other circumstances. Obviously, I'm not familiar with the specifics of your case so it would be impossible for me to render such an opinion. Since I'm sure you have an attorney, I would suggest you make an appointment to sit down with him/her and discuss your case with them.
