details: demand letter was made pre mediation - rule 11 agreement was made extending the demand date until after the mediation.

a rule 11 agreement refers to rule 11 of the texas rules of civil procedure. when attorneys and/or the litigants reach certain decisions such as , settlements, extension of time to respond to a settlement offer or demand, and/or other agreements that might extend time deadlines that are in place during litigation,the agreement is reduced to writing and filed with the court. that way the agreement is enforceable by the court. i hope this helps. bill featherston
