time limit on medical malpractice

What is the time limit on filing a medical malpractice lawsuit in Texas? I was too sick, then could not find a lawyer, but will have medical bills for the rest of my life because my doctor was willing to let me die.

The "statute of limitations" on medical malpractice suits varies from state to state but is two (2) years in the state of Texas.
