how can i get rid of a charge that i got in the army that is on my record over 10 years ago.

In order to appeal or recharacterize a former personnel's discharge status, an appeal needs to be made to either the service branch's discharge review board or board for correction of military records depending on various factors; however, I would need to know more details to better assess the situation.
