Legal Question in Military Law in Texas
General Court Martial conviction
I recently went thru a General CM and was convicted but received no jail time. I was only reduced one grade and still able to serve today. Is my conviction a felony? I was convicted of negligent dereliction of Duty and obstruction of Justice.

In some states the obstruction of justice might be a felony.
It depends on the law of the state in which you are residing, or where you are trying to get a job.
You will have a problem with security clearances, background checks, and some licences because of the obstruction charge I think.
Some depends on the facts involved and what you are trying to do.
