Legal Question in Military Law in Texas

Military Member Lien Against Property

My ex wifes Attorney filed a lien against my home for fee's owed to him during divorce. The mortgage is my name only. I am stationed overseas and was never notified until I tried to sell my house in the states and the title company said there is a lien. Is this legal and should I have been notified and does the Civil Relief Act help me in any way? Options Please?

Talk first with your Base Legal Office, the Legal Assistance office. They will be able to give you some initial guidance and then put you in touch with a lawyer in the place where the property is.
