Legal Question in Military Law in Texas

Officer Hardship Discharge

I am an officer in the Army. I have been under stress; misdiagnosis of life threatening disease, divorce, and highly stressful job. I went AWOL for 5 days, self-referred myself to mental health and my command initiated a command referred evaluation. What can I do to try and get a harship discharge to help put my life together? The military isn't in any hurry to help or understanding.

Re: Officer Hardship Discharge

Call Jack Zimmermann, Esq. Col. USMCR, who does the most and BEST military law in Texas (and elsewhere).... He's in Houston... I'm traveling and don't have his phone number with me. If you can't get his # call the Texas Bar Association. DO NOTHING with the Army until you've got a lawyer for "cover." Go for it and good luck.
