Sure, the Army cannot stop you from marrying another member, but be prepared for a Fraternization investigation, unless one of you is planning to separate in the near future. If so, I'd wait until after that to get married. The "bedroom police" are still active and fraternization is still a crime under the UCMJ. At a minimum, an Article 15 is generally given - a career ender for any officer - and if your CG thinks it's "aggravated" by the chain-of-command issue, it could be referred to a General Court-Martial.

Bottom line - while legal, getting married under the circumstances is NOT a wise decision.
