My husband recently relocated to Germany and decide to act single, I have been unable to contact him and he is withdrawing large amounts from our joint account. What can I do to protect myself from any debt that he may incure during this time? Can I get a legal separation? I was told I coulndt file for divorce because he is located in germany, is this true?

Re: Protecting myself from debt
Based on what you have stated, whether or not you can file for divorce depends upon whether he is on active duty military service. In Texas there is no legal separation. My law firm would require more specific facts to provide you with an appropriate direction. If my local law firm can assist you with this legal issue or any other legal matter, please contact my legal assistant Jennifer ([email protected]).
