Legal Question in Military Law in Texas
What is my status?
I was convicted in a military court of use and distribution of controlled substances. I recieved a dishonorable discharge and 18 months in confinement. I want to know am I classified as a felon and if so what are my options in getting a seal on my record or expungement?

Re: What is my status?
You probably are, but you would need to check your State criminal code, to see how your State classifies your charges.
No expungement.

In most states you would be considered a felon, yes, and it is very unlikely, given the situation, that you could get the Board for Correction of Military Records to do anything with your discharge.
