Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas
My 18 year old daughter was in an auto accident a few months ago. The other driver admitted fault & was ticketed by the police. Both vehicles were totalled. They cut a check for our car immediately. His insurance company is offering to pay all the medical bills (total $4249.17) and added another $2300 for inconvenience. My daughter suffered permanent scars on her leg, hand, and head. She also has had to see a therapist due to the trauma of the accident.
Is this a fair settlement? I feel that the insurance company is low-balling us. The orginal offer was $2000, which they have since increased to $2300.
Thanks,
Mike

You need an attorney to review this case, as every case is different. Is your daughter of age, or is she a minor? Where are the scars? If you are unrepresented, you may be getting lowballed. Call an injury attorney or two and speak with them about your case TODAY. My number is below if you want to talk to me.
Call a PI lawyer..I am always amazed when clients call me after negotiating with insurers..a lady called just a day before statute of limitations were about to run..had been offered $1000...from her own uninsured motorist insurer...we finally got 20k..another man called a month before statute ran...had 40k in meds ..All State had offered $45k...we got policy limits of 200k...so call a PI lawyer...members of TTLA or DTLA...and as David Leon says..no one can say what will happen..but experience helps
