Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

My 5 year old was in Taekwondo class. It was board breaking day. Another child grabbed his boards and started rubbing 2 boards together over my sons head and started sayin"its raining its raining" My son looked up and shavings from the board fell into my sons eye. We took him to the ER that night which was a wednesday. He still was in pain. By friday his eye became crossed. We took him to the Opthomologist and he took out a piece of wood shaving from his eye. His eye got better by Monday.Who is responsible for the medical expenses?

Often businesses like that will have something called "medpay coverage" that is designed to cover the first 1000 (sometimes a little more) of medical expenses incurred due to an injury ont he premises. I would contact the owner and request his insurance information.
