Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

what if i got into accident and the other person didnt want to stay for the police to get there and then they , Leaving Scene of Accident but now they want their car fix. I have a police report and the police dont have any statement on what happen from the other person cause she didnt stay to give them the information.
