Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

Animal Injury

We pay a to keep our horse at a barn and ride in their arena. Our horse stepped on a nail in the arena and was sick for 2 weeks building $300 in medical bills. If not for the immediate attention and good care we gave him with no help from the barn owners it could have been really bad. I think they should pay his medical bills. Do I have grounds to sue them for the vet/bills and supplies?

Re: Animal Injury

yes and it is a matter you can take to the small claims court for damages under $10,000...get all the evidence and a reason why the barn owners should have known or did know of the presence of nails in the arena...but if they had no reason to know you will lose...
