Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

assault

A guy cuts me off while

driving, i get upset so i was

tailgating him ,he then

procedes to stop short ,i

manage not to hit him, then he

gets out of his car, i then also

get out and we get in a fight, a

few punches were thrown

nothing major, i happen to get

the best of him so i left the

scene.Police officer shows up

and asks what happend told

him he said in this type of

situation we usually dont do

anything and left .About a

month later i recieve a letter

saying im being charged with

assault.My question is what do

you think my chances are of

winning if i take it to trial?
