Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

auto accident

I was in an auto mobile wreck in 1998 totaled the car broke my hip bone. Still have pain nothing that I can't handle but it is still persitant. Dr says it is healed and that is all they can do. Insurance co. ready to settle and wasn't even close to what I would need to cover future cost. Very disipointed in offer so need to ask for help on solving this problem. Where can I get information concerning other settlements with similar situations? Thank you

There are MANY factors that influence the value of a case including which venue it is in. Your more immediate issue is that as a general rule you only have 2 years to file a suit. You should immediately contact a lawyer familiar with personal injury cases & your venue. You may well have to file suit first & then worry about negociations.
