Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

Automobile Policy Limits

If injuries exceed policy liability limitations is it possible to sue the insurance company of the responsible party for lost wages, medical expenses, pain and suffering ,and mental anguish. Injury cost me my job and will probably have to retrain for a different career.
