Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

Whose to blame?

Who do you sue or try to get the money out of pocket you have already acquired after an injury accident when the person that caused the injury accident got killled in the accident? The person did not have any car insurance and did not have a driver's license either. I did have car insurance, just the legal amount required in the state of texas which is liabilty,no uninsured motorist insurance. Who do I sue or take to court since the person driving the car that caused the accident is dead? No injury/accident attorneys will take the case because of the above situation. Help?

Re: Whose to blame?

Unless the deceased was driving somebody else's car who had insurance, no attorney will take the case because there is very, very little prospect of recovering any money. If he didn't have insurance or a driver's license, maybe the only prospect might be that he would have a winning lottery ticket in his pocket, but that's probably gone by now also.
