Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

The building where I work is only one floor. I work in an office in the building, and there is also a shop attached to it where the other employees work on lawn mowers and cars. They have them running for long periods of time and the building is on the same central heat and air ducts. My office has no open windows and I am not allowed by the owner to open the front door due to safety concerns. My office is filling up with toxic fumes. I have stated my concern to the owner and he just gets upset and is trying his best to avoid me. He says it is his place of business and he wont have me tell him how to run it. I am starting to have headaches and my joints ache all the time. And when I come home my roommate complains I smell of exhaust. I work in an office! I need to know what my rights are and what I should do. I know I could just quit, but no one should have to work in these conditions. My boss also smokes inside the building which I know I may not have any control over that, but the carbon monoxide is really bad and he doesn't want to do anything about it.
