You need to tell your insurance company about the accident. It sounds like you will have difficulty making a claim against the other driver; but I can't say that with any certainty since I have not reviewed the accident report and/or talked to any witnesses. If you have personal injury protection or medical payment coverage, contact me to assist you further.
I assist clients thoughout the state.

1. Report the accident to your auto ins. co. ASAP
2. Hire a ticket lawyer to defend the traffic ticket
3. If injured, get medical treatment and then contact a personal injury lawyer
4. Do not speak to the other driver's insurance company or give them a statement before you speak to a lawyer
5. Do not sign any insurance company forms from the other driver's ins. co. before speaking to a lawyer
