Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

I was in a car wreck and suffered injuries mainly soft tissue. Since then i have gone to a chiropractor regularly. I am beeing told that if i settle now after 13 visits that only my doctor bills will get paid. How true is this?

Trust your lawyer...but if u don't have a lawyer, how could u go to Court? but who is telling u what will be paid???
