You may have to pay a small fine if no one was hurt. If someone waqs hurt, do not give a statement to the police and immediately call your insurance company and tell them they need to get you a lawyer under the supplemental payments provision of the insurance policy. If they don't, hire one yourself and do not give the particulars to anyone till you have a lawyer, including your insurance company. The police can get the statement you give to your insurance company.
