Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas
my daughter was in the hospital after an overdose. after being admitted she was given meds like ativan etc. she was angry an still impaired she was allowed to go to the atrium and smoke the security guard that was wathcing her was told not to out with her. there were stairs going from the basement to the first floor she ran to the stairs and jumped off the landing it was about 15 ft above the ground, and was taken back to the ER. she was then retruned to her hospital room. can we sue for neglence?
