my daughter was physically assulted by a male who got hurt when she defended herself. He called the police and filed an assult charge on her. What shuld we do?

This happens all the time. Your daughter is going to need a competent criminal defense attorney. The most likely outcome is that the charge will ultimately be dismissed. But it will not be dismissed just by asking..

If your question concerns her personal injury, your daughter may sue the assailant, but can he actually pay damages (money)? If the answer is no, it may be a waste of time.
