Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

If my daughters ( 16 ) ex boyfriend ( 18 ) spread hanious rumor saying that my daughter has HERPIES would I Father have a grounds for a legal action against this man. All the school that she attends has made terrible gestures and remarks about this matter.

You could sue for slander; your daughter would be the Plaintiff, and you would file for her "as next friend."
