Daycare Abuse ??
As a first time parent I see things that I feel constitute as emotional and mental abuse. Today, they deliberated took my infant child's hair down and decided to use my child as a guinea pig to practice braiding hair because one woman didn't know how to braid hair and they said they thought it would be alright. I am outraged! To disregard and do things to my child whether it is redoing clothes or hair, giving medicines, taking pictures without parental permission I feel is a crime. My gut feeling is telling me that since this daycare disregards the rights of a parent signatue eventually something more serious will happen and another bland excuse will be given by the daycare. If needed could charges be filed against them for a lack of disregard to parental permission of allowable grounds of care for my child? Or am I being an overly paranoid mother?

Re: Daycare Abuse ??
Parents are, and should be, protective and, sometime, "overly paranoid." There are too many instances of neglect and abuse going on in the world that could be prevented if people would just pay attention to the warning signs. In this instance, I do not believe the workers at the daycare center have committed an offense for which "charges" could be filed. However, if you are uncomfortable with the level of care at this particular provider, then, by all means, find another daycare center.
