Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

There was two dead tree's in my back yard that I had told my landlord about every time i paid my rent total about times. I was out trying to fix a place in the backyard fence so my dog could not get out when one of the trees fell on me. I was not thinking the tree would fall because i and the landlord a few weeks before looked at it he pushed on it and it was strongly rooted it did not move. when i was working bent down with my back to the tree all i remember is i heard a strange cracking sound then i was down and unable to move. It lacerated my spleen. I have ongoing medical bills totaling over $40,000.00, should the landlord be responsible since I and two other people told him about the trees with the last 2 years?

You definitely need to speak with a lawyer about this. You can make claim against your landlord's insurance policy but will most likely have to file suit against him.
