Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

Im being falsely accused of a hit n run n the dps officer the man is talking to gave that man our address with just the licence plate. Is that allowed or can we report the officer?

Apparently, the officer is reporting what he was told. The officer's job is to report the evidence supplied. You can make an administrative complaint to the police force if you believe the officer erred in performing his duty.
