Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas
My father was killed last year after colliding with an overpass column on Hy20 outside of midland /odessa tx. this is a major travel artery for texas with 80mph speed limits and the only thing keeping the care away from the overpass colums is a low railing at the road edge ... I believe that my father would still be with us today had that column been protected by sand or water barrels barriers (like i have seen throughout other parts of texas) do we have a position to sue? what kind of attorney should we be looking at? should this attorney be based in midland/odessa? how lond do we have following the accident to sue?

I'm sorry to hear about your father.
You may indeed have a claim; it is worth letting a lawyer look into. You do not need a loal attorney as many personal injury attorneys, including myself, handle cases throughout Texas. You have two years from the date of the death of your father's death. I would be happy to speak with you and talk about avenues that may ne pursued. My number is 512-472-8318.
