Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

If someone has filed an assault on family member case. Can they take it back and blame it on someone else even though the aggressor has already gone to jail

You have a duty to tell the truth when testifying. If false accusations were made, then the person should go to the authorities and tell the truth. This, however, may subject the person to criminal charges for perjury or obstruction.
