Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

Head Injury On A Metro Bus

MY mother was riding on a Metro bus when the driver slammed on his break to avoid hitting a car that jumped in front of him. My mother flew out of her seat hitting her head on the metal pole, knocking her out and causing injury to her ear. She was taken to the hopspital via ambulance where she recieved stitched for her ear. She must now see an ear specialist. My question is, does she have a lawsuit? Can she sue Metro for her pain and suffering?

Re: Head Injury On A Metro Bus

The short answer is yes. However, the question to be answered is whether or not the driver was negligent. If he had no chance to avoid the driver, then Metro may not be as negligent as the other driver. That person may be the person most responsible for the injuries.
