Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

I was hired and work out of Texas. My company corp. headquarters is in Ark. They do NOT have Texas Workers Comp insurance. They have their own. I injured my shoulder cranking up another companies trailer in Oklahoma attached to my companies tractor. I was put off work and paid for 3 weeks, their doctor did a procedure on my shoulder. It helped for a while, but now the pain is back and I have trouble sleeping. My company says this is due to old age and will not help me. A lawyer told me I would have to sue the owner of the trailer and get Oklahoma lawyer. I can not afford to go to a doctor or be off work. Please advise me

You will have to file suit but if you will not go see a doctor it is essentially impossible to prevail on any potential claims because that shows you did not require medical attention for your alleged injury.

Sad fact Texas permits employers to not have work comp insurance...and from the facts you

state it seems there is no negligence..only the work caused your injury..hence, I see no legal remedy and of course medical experts are required to prove the injury was caused by your work....Hopefully you find a way to rehabilitate so call Texas Disability and Rehabilitation Services..

DARS for training...good luck
