Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas
was hit from the rear 9-16-2015 while waiting at a red light 9-2-16-2015. i went to the emergency room about two hours later due to head ache and knee pain, I received and x ray and cat scan of my head and knee but there were only bruises and swelling, so i was prescribed Tylenol 3, Ibuprofen and Flexeril. I went to see my personal doctor 2 days later and was told that i also needed physical therapy for my back. I was also advised that i needed to return to work immediately because lying around would not help me to heal. I was told to use ice and heat packs and to take the ibuprofen because it would make the swelling go away. I tried to get the physical therapy but Blue Cross and Blue Shield said that they would not cover it because it was the other persons fault. The person that hit me had Geico and i was told by them to file on my PIP insurance. I saw my doctor last in October because i have know way of getting physical therapy and know one wants to cover me. I was told by Geico that i can only get $350 towards the settlement of my case. My doctor have not released my, how can these people offer me only $350
