Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

I was hurt in a car accident and the lawyer that was handle my case has drop it, stating that the other person as no car insurance and my only recource is to file a judgement against the person who hit me. I don't know what to do next. Do I sue in small claims court?

In Texas, if someone causes an accident with a significant amount of damages and has no insurance, you can seek to have their license revoked until they pay back the damages. There are attorneys who specialize in this. Also, if you have full coverage, then you can seek a claim against your own insurance, and they'll in turn go after the at fault party for you.
