Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas
Injured By DPS following rollover accident
On Sept. 03,2004. I was injured in arollover accident in my SUV. Tex. DPS officer reached through my open skyroof and proceeded to try to pull me through the skyroof opening by my rt. ear , causing my ear to ripped from my head.
I spent three days in ICU on a ventilator and 4 more in the hospital ; I underwent broken jaw and ear plasty surgeries. I am still missing my rt. ear. I would like to know how to
claim personel injury compensation over this matter. thanks.

You have several different options, but I would need to review your paperwork and speak with you about it. Basically, you have a cause of action against the drivers, the manufacturer of the SUV (and possibly the tire, if this was incident to a blowout or tread separation), among others. You need to speak with an attorney about this case, the sooner the better. If you want to call my firm, the number is 214.739.0100.

You should definitely consult with an experienced personal injury lawyer about your options. Coincidentally, the same month you were injured, our law firm featured an article about vehicle rollover in our monthly newsletter. You can read it here: http://www.kraftlaw.com/kraftlawnewsletter/Newsletters2004/NewsletterSep04.html.
We will be happy to visit with you about this matter, with no charge for the initial consultation, and no further obligation on your part. Call us at 800-989-9999 or e-mail me at [email protected].
Good luck to you.
