injury at department store
i was at the store looking at candles i pick one up to sell and i bottom of the box was open so the candle fell on my foot and cause some cuts and bleeding the employee told me ,maybe i needed stitches but when i got home i cleaned it some and did not need
stitches while cleaning my foot i had to stand on one foot and ask for a wheelchair they finally got one took the report and said someone one would contact me .no one ask if i needed help to my car i had to walk to my car and ask an employee to help to the register so that i can at least purchase 2 item i needed and left the rest i asked the employee to help me out with the merchandise to my car but again no one offered or asked if i need help to my care
am i entitled to some type of settlement

Maybe, but you would have to prove the store caused the accident or should have known about the bottom of the box being open. If you missed time from work, then you could claim lost wages. You are also entitled to claim damages for pain and suffering and for any scarring.
