Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

Injury in a restaraunt...

My boyfriend was having chest pains last weekend and was out with his family having dinner in a restaraunt. While he was there, he passed out, landing on his face and fracturing the part of his skull around his right eye. As he lay there bleeding, not breathing for a time, and unconscious for a time, none of the restaraunt employees called an ambulance, offered any assistance or did anything other than stand and watch as his family tried desperately to revive him and call an ambulance. The manager of the store then claimed he was drunk, even though the waitresses and his family stated that he wasn't. He lay bleeding in the floor until the ambulance, called by his sister, arrived and took him to the hospital. My question is this: Would he have any grounds for a neglegence suit, or anything of that sort?

Re: Injury in a restaraunt...

No. There is no law in Texas mandating that a restaurant (or anyone else) render aid under these circumstances.
