Insurance Liability claim Not at fault
I was hit on passangers side of my truck Other driver given ticket excessive speed He tried to stop for red light slid thru as I enetered intersection. His insurance company has finally agreed he is at fault. I had 4 witness too..They want to send me a check for what they dtermine my damages are and a ck for $300.00 for a rent car. I have no idea what the damages and cost of rent car is. I can file on my insurance under collision and pay the deductible.. Will I get this money back? I have medical expenses too plus my daughters glasses were damaged and I missed 3 days of work. My leg, arm was bruised ,plus I had a neck sprain. very painful..Had to wear a collar off and on plus definetly sleep in it..What are my rights concerning this?

If you feel that you are getting compensated adequately for your injury, then by all means settle the claim. However, if you don't I suggest you consult with an attorney. However, be advised that hiring an attorney will cost you 1/3 of your settlement. Generally, speaking they should cover your medical costs, damage to the vehicle, damages for pain and suffering, damages associated with loss of work if any.

You may be entitled to more that you are receiving. If you have medical bills and a neck sprain, there may be future treatment required. What does your doctor say? If you would like to speak with me, please call me.
