If you have the name of the other driver, the name of his or her insurance company, and the policy number for that insurance company, you look up the "report a claim" number for that insurance company on the internet. Generally, it's a toll free number. Call that number and the person who answers can set up a claim for you over the phone. HOWEVER, be careful what you say to the other driver's insurance company, as sometimes things you innocently say to that person will be used to reduce or deny your claim. In addition, if you were injured, it is important to have all of your injuries checked out and treated by a medical provider.
