Malice

Can a builder who is regulated by the Texas Residential Construction Commission sue you for malice if you make a complaint to TRCC? Are builders considered public figures?

Is it malice or for defamation? If you make a false statement re someone in their profession, then you can be sued for defamation. If you have been sued, hire a local lawyer to assist you.
