Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas
is it malpractice?
i was treated by dr. for 6 months for a kidney infection...no antibotic worked at all and i was on pain medication most of that time...had paps smear in feb. that supposedly showed normal...dr. sent me to urologist and for ultra sound that showed tumor in uterus and unidentifed mass in pelvic area...finally, after 6 months of being in pain, she sent me to ob/gyn who said i needed hysterectomy immediately and after opening me up found cervical cancer that had spread outside uterus...now i'm recuping from that and will start radiation treatments in 2 weeks...is the first dr. at fault for letting this go so long? she knew i was in terrible pain and bleeding and still treated me for a kidney infection...what do you think?
